Compatible models generally include Norinco, WASR, MAK-90, Egyptian Maadi, and MAK-90 AK-47/74 slant-cut receiver. However, some modifications may be necessary for certain models. AK-pattern rifles have been manufactured in many countries worldwide, including Russia, various Eastern European nations, China, Egypt, and the United States. There are numerous AK-style rifles on the market with dimensional differences among the various makes and models, and some do not adhere to the original design.
