This AR Mil-Spec Carbine Receiver Extension (Buffer Tube) 6 Position and steel castle nut lock ring are for upgrading your AR-15, M4 or LR-308 carbine. This mil-spec carbine receiver extension buffer tube six position is machined to strict military diameter standards to provide an excellent fit and reliable function. This receiver extension buffer tube is compatible with all carbine mil-spec diameter buttstocks. This AR buffer tube is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and given a Military Type III hard coat anodized finish to withstand years of rugged abuse. These buffer tubes are compatible with mil-spec diameter USGI, UTG, ATI, BCM®, Colt, LMT, SOPMOD, VLTOR, Stag Arms, Magpul CTR (Mil-Spec) and other aftermarket stocks made to mil-spec diameter standards.
